Rachel A. Riso

Rachel A. Riso was born in Iowa. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, summa cum laude, from the University of Northern Iowa in 2000. In 2004, she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law. While in law school, Rachel was a member of the National Moot Court Team and National Moot Court Council. 

Rachel is an active member of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and serves as the chair of the Amicus Committee. Rachel also serves on the Board of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and is a Missouri Disciplinary Hearing Officer. 

Rachel is licensed to practice in Missouri and Kansas and the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri. Rachel has practiced in Springfield, Missouri, since 2008, following her family’s move from Kansas City.

Rachel’s practice focuses on a wide variety of defense work. Rachel defends individuals, insurance companies, municipalities, public entitlements, and large and small businesses. Rachel has practiced with the firm since 2021 and is a shareholder in the firm. 

Rachel lives in Springfield with her husband and two children. Rachel enjoys traveling with her family and being active in her children’s activities.
